Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I discovered some repair concerns on my roof that I needed to get taken care of quickly in a short amount of time. Olympus was prompt, courteous, and thorough. They walked me through everything they were doing and charged a fair price. I'll definitely be keeping in touch for roofing projects in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were advised to look into a new roof after the closing of our home. We met with Christian who was friendly, honest & didn’t waste our time on a long drawn-out sales pitch. The company provides good rates & we will be returning to them for any/all future roofing needs.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called Olympus Roofing for a roof replacement quote. Christian Carlson came out to inspect it. He took the time to do a thorough inspection. He checked my attic space and took drone shots of my roof. Christian was completely honest and told me a total replacement wasn’t necessary even though another company said it was. You don’t find this level of honesty and integrity much these days. It’s rare to find a contractor you can trust. When I do need a new roof, this is the only company I am calling.

The Types of Residential Roofs We Install

Our residential roofing services in Cottonwood Heights include expert installation of materials that are built for Utah’s shifting seasons.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing

Asphalt shingles are one of the most popular roofing choices in Cottonwood Heights for good reason—they’re cost-effective, durable, and come in a wide variety of styles. Whether you’re going for classic charm or modern curb appeal, asphalt shingles offer the flexibility to get the look you want without breaking the bank. Plus, they’re built to handle wind, snow, and changing temperatures throughout the year.

Types of Asphalt Shingles We Install:

Three-tab Asphalt Shingles: These provide a sleek, uniform appearance and are the most budget-friendly choice. Expect about 20 years of protection with proper care.
Architectural Asphalt Shingles: Known for their layered design and upscale appearance, these are ideal if you want your roof to mimic the look of cedar or slate.
Premium Asphalt Shingles: For homeowners looking to make a bold statement and add extra wind resistance, premium shingles offer top-tier performance and a longer lifespan.

Metal Roofing

If you’re looking for a roof that offers unbeatable longevity and protection from the elements, metal roofing is an excellent choice. Especially valuable in mountain-adjacent communities like Cottonwood Heights, metal roofs resist heavy snow, high winds, and even fire. Their reflective surface also helps keep your home cooler in summer, which can lower energy bills and make your space more comfortable.

Types of Metal Roofs We Install:

Aluminum Roofing: Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, aluminum is ideal for areas with variable weather patterns. It’s also recyclable and energy-efficient.
Copper Roofing: Known for its beauty and longevity, copper develops a natural patina over time and can last more than 70 years with proper care.
Steel Roofing: Strong, customizable, and affordable—steel roofing offers incredible versatility and excellent resistance to impact and moisture.
Corrugated Metal Roofing: These panels are easy to install and built for stability. Great for both contemporary homes and rustic cabins.
Standing Seam Metal Roofing: With sleek, concealed fasteners and superior waterproofing, this system is ideal for long-term durability and minimal maintenance.

Cedar Roofs

Cedar roofing combines natural beauty with high performance. This type of roofing offers a warm, rustic aesthetic that pairs perfectly with the mountainous views and historic architecture found around Cottonwood Heights. Cedar is also naturally resistant to pests and decay, which means your investment goes further.

Types of Cedar Roofs We Install:

Cedar Shingle Roofing: Smooth, uniform, and charming—cedar shingles provide a timeless look with excellent insulation benefits.
Cedar Shake Roofing: If you prefer a textured, hand-split appearance, cedar shakes offer a rugged elegance that’s both eye-catching and long-lasting.

Not sure which type of cedar roof suits your home best? Our team is happy to help you compare options and select what works best for your design preferences and budget.

FAQs About Residential Roofing

How long does a typical roof replacement take?

Most roof replacements in Cottonwood Heights take around three days, depending on weather conditions and the size of your home.

Can I re-roof over my existing shingles?

Yes, Utah building code allows for up to two layers of asphalt shingles. However, we often recommend a full tear-off to inspect the roof deck and ensure longer-lasting results.

Do I need to be home during the roof work?

Nope! You’re welcome to come and go as you please. Just make sure we have access to an outdoor outlet—and we’ll take care of the rest.

What colors of shingles are best?

Choose what fits your home’s style! Light shingles reflect heat, but with proper insulation and ventilation, you’re free to choose whichever color you like best.

Can I get a quote over the phone?

For roof replacements, we’ll need to inspect your roof in person to provide an accurate estimate. Don’t worry—your estimate is free and comes with no obligation.
